Lauren Alaina Is ‘Getting Good’ At Giving Advice

Lauren Alaina’s upbeat demeanor truly shines on her single, ‘Getting Good.’ The song showcases a powerful message and shares the softer and more reflective side of the 24-year-old Georgia native.

In a recent interview with Cody Alan, the 'CMT Next Women Of Country' artist shared her best advice for finding happiness while reaching goals.

“I have always tried to be uplifting and empowering,” says Lauren. “I have had a lot of struggles in my life of not feeling good enough or not feeling like what I have to offer isn’t enough.”

“This song is basically saying, “Hey! Take a second to count your blessings and think about all of the wonderful things in your life, and you will realize that actually your life is good right now.”

Lauren’s advice of living in the moment is one that can challenge us all. “We can all evolve, and we can all have goals,” Lauren continues. “I sometimes forget when I achieve a goal to be grateful for achieving that because I am so busy trying to achieve the next goal. This song is just about where you are right now and to be grateful for it.”
