How Lauren Alaina Discovered Her ‘God-Given Gift’

Lauren Alaina is a powerhouse vocalist, but when did she discover that her voice was a ‘God-given gift?”

In a recent interview with Cody Alan, the “Road Less Traveled” singer opened up about the path that led her to discover her talent.

“I think other people realized it before I did,” laughs Lauren. “I always just loved to do it, but I think I was about nine.”

Lauren found her voice in the church choir. “At church, in the choir, I was always getting the solos. Then, I started doing competitions in my small town, at fairs and stuff, but then I was like, “Wait, maybe I can actually do this for a living?” It went from something that I loved to do to something that I could do.”
