Carrie Underwood's Husband May Have Big News

Mike Fisher may be picking up his hockey stick once again.

The NHL superstar and husband of country’s own Carrie Underwood will reportedly end his retirement and return as an active member of the Nashville Predators.

According to the Tennessean, Mike will announce his return for the remainder of the Predators’ season today (Jan. 31) during a press conference at Bridgestone Arena.

If the speculation is true, Mike will re-enter at the NHL season halfway point, at which the Nashville team leads the Central Division in the Western Conference with 29 wins and 12 losses.

Before his retirement last August, Mike had scored 276 goals and had 309 assists in  17 seasons and 1,088 career NHL games. He played his last 6 1/2 seasons with the Predators where he scored 109 goals in 413 games.
