Thomas Rhett admits that he has been busy and he is hoping to take advice from Florida Georgia Line and keep things “Simple.”
TR has been hectically touring and is now headed to the ACM Awards happening in Las Vegas on Sunday. Nominated for Male Artist of the Year, Thomas is set to perform his latest single “Look What God Gave Her.”
In a recent interview with Cody Alan, Thomas shared that he is really proud of his album but has a focused goal for this year and he is taking it seriously.
“I want to live simpler this year. More minimalistic,” shared Thomas. “Just in every facet of life. Whether that’s the way that me and my family spend time together to us just sitting at the house and really enjoying each other’s company. I feel like last year was so busy that we didn’t really spend a lot of time just to sit with each other. So, this year it’s all about simplicity to me.”
Thomas just celebrated his 29th birthday after getting back from touring Europe, Australia, and Hawaii. To help Thomas slow down, his wife Lauren gave him a birthday gift that would require his time, attention, and dedication to stepping off the grid. The birthday gift? Fly fishing gear.
