Did you hear the rumors of Carrie Underwood’s upcoming collaborations? This one is confirmed.
The “Cry Pretty” singer and Brad Paisley are teaming up for the 11th year to host the 52nd Annual CMA Awards. The ceremony will air on ABC Television live from Bridgestone Arena on November 14th.
Identified with the slogan, “Country’s Biggest Night” The CMA Awards have created an information task force, asking Luke Bryan, Dan + Shay, and Sugarland to be an instrumental part of the 52nd Annual CMA Awards information reveal.
While nominations and additional show details are still being considered, fans can expect that the information will be released during the August 28th broadcast of “Good Morning America” live from “Luke’s 32 Bridge Food + Drink.” Bryan’s new Nashville-based bar is currently under construction and limited information has been released regarding details for a grand opening.
The Carrie and Brad or Brad and Carrie or “CRAD” cohost duo, are now tied for the longest consecutive running CMA host. Vince Gill hosted the awards from 1992 to 2003, breaking his 11-year stride in 2004 when he decided to step into a brief retirement. In 2004, another famed duo, Brooks & Dunn stepped into the CMA Host spotlight and helped curate the evening.
Now that our 2018 CMA Awards hosts are confirmed, we can sit back and prepare ourselves for wardrobe changes, pun infested quips and ritualistic song parodies.
