The world met Carole Underwood at the same time it met her superstar daughter 13 years ago on American Idol. As it turns out, the two are as close as ever in 2018.
In Carrie Underwood’s new interview with the Today show, Carole appears alongside her famous daughter and Hoda Kotb and shares sweet words about the country star ahead of Mother’s Day.

“You know, she’s a great mom,” shes says of Carrie. “She’s a great daughter. She’s a great person. I just want her to always be that way.”
“You hit the mom jackpot,” Hoda then told Carrie.
In between interviews, the three celebrated the holiday for mothers by working out in the newest fashions from the CALIA by Carrie Underwood line of athleisure wear.
