Carrie Underwood belted “the home of the brave” inside the home of the Nashville Predators.
The country megastar performed “The Star Spangled Banner” Sunday (April 29) before the NHL team’s second game in their Stanley Cup Playoff series versus the Winnipeg Jets.
Carrie, whose husband Mike Fisher recently came out of retirement to rejoin the Predators for one last season, follows in the footsteps of Rascal Flatts, Maren Morris and Dierks Bentley, who have so far each performed the National Anthem during the Preds’ playoff games at home.
The team ultimately came out victorious on Sunday and will now travel to Winnipeg for Game 3 on Tuesday (May 1) and Game 4 on Thursday (May 3).
The Predators defeated the Colorado Avalanche 4-2 in their first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
