Chris Stapleton, Thomas Rhett Lead ACM Nominations

Chris Stapleton and Thomas Rhett lead the country pack in nominations at the 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards.

The "Broken Halos" singer snagged more nominations than anyone else in 2018 with eight total, including his first for Entertainer of the Yer.

Reigning Male Vocalist of the Year Thomas is nominated in the category once again and is also up for five additional trophies.

Keith Urban and songwriter Shane McAnally follow with five total nominations each, while Miranda Lambert and Maren Morris each earned four total nominations.

A surprise nod went to Tim McGraw and Faith Hill in the Vocal Duo of the Year category. The country couple released their first ever joint album, The Rest of Our Life, in late 2017.

Among the nominees in the New Artist categories include Carly Pearce, LANCO and Russell Dickerson--just to name a few.

Fourteen-time host Reba McEntire will return to the ACM helm in 2018.

The 53rd Annaul ACM Awards broadcasts live from Las Vegas on Sunday, April 15, at 8 P.M. ET on CBS.
