Loretta Lynn is recovering at home after falling and breaking her hip.
The country legend’s sister Crystal Gayle revealed the 85-year-old “Coal Miner’s Daughter” suffered the injury last week, asking fans to keep Loretta in their thoughts and prayers.
“I was with Loretta yesterday,” Crystal wrote. “She is in good spirits and is doing as well as can be expected with this type of injury.”
The latest health setback comes less than one year after Loretta suffered a stroke in May 2017.
Since then, the “Fist City” singer has mad made two public appearances, one at 2017 Tennessee Motorcycle and Music Revival at her ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, and another at the 2017 Country Music Hall of Fame induction to induct her friend, Alan Jackson.
In light of her recent health obstacles, Loretta has postponed the release of her next album, Wouldn’t It Be Great, to sometime in 2018.
