Jake Owen has gone without his long locks long enough.
The country star began his career with a long, beach-ready ‘do in 2006 and even became famous for it. But Jake did away with his staple style in 2014 when he traded his long hair for a shorter, more trimmed look.
“And they said I wouldn't...” he captioned a photo at the time. But the time has come for the return of Jake’s longer hair.
“Spoiler alert... I’m growing that flow back,” he wrote January 5.

I’m growing that flow back.
The longer hair will return during a time of more change for Jake in 2018.
He left his longtime record label, Sony Music Nashville, for a new deal with Big Loud Records, reuniting himself with Joey Moi, the producer of 2011's Barefoot Blue Jean Night.
