Garth Brooks' Anthology is First Top Country Album of 2018
It’s a good week to be Garth Brooks.
The country star’s The Anthology: Part 1, the First 5 Years becomes the first No. 1 of 2018 on Billboard’s top country albums chart.
The Anthology takes over the top spot from Luke Bryan’s What Makes You Country, last week’s chart-topper and the final No. 1 of 2017.
The accolade comes after a banner year for the country legend.
Garth wrapped up a three-year world tour, and his single “Ask Me How I Know” became his first No. 1 song in 10 years.
The song, which was written by up-and-coming artist/songwriter Mitch Rossell, earned Garth his 20th No.1 song of his career. He last appeared at the top of the Billboard Country Airplay Chart in 2007 with “More Than A Memory.”
For 2018, Garth’s teasing a big stadium-sized announcement... coming soon. Click here for details.
