Luke Bryan is living Lee Brice’s “I Drive Your Truck.”
Luke reveals how the emotional song became his reality in a new video on Instagram in which he reveals his best Christmas gift ever.
As Luke describes, his wife, Caroline, once surprised him with his late brother Chris’ 1996 truck.
“It was down in Louisiana, and it was still on the road,” Luke says. “And her and my dad went down, they picked it up, brought it to Nashville, and Christmas Eve night pulled into the driveway with it. And let’s just say that, yes, the tears were flowing. What an amazing moment for me and my family!”
Chris passed away in a car accident when he was just 26. Luke, who was just 19 at the time, keeps his big brother’s memory alive in the ‘96 pick-up.
“That truck is the turkey-hunting truck. So when the boys see me pull up in my brother’s truck, they know we’re fixin’ to go turkey hunting,” he says.
