Taylor Swift, Ashley Judd Cover TIME's Person of the Year Issue

TIME magazine has announced its annual Person of the Year, and as it turns out, 2017’s honor isn’t reserved for just one person.

Taylor Swift, Ashley Judd and others cover this year’s issue as “The Silence Breakers,” which TIME describes as “the voices that launched a movement” regarding sexual misconduct and harassment.

Taylor speaks for the first time since her landmark court case against a radio DJ who groped her during a 2003 meet-and-greet.

“I think that this moment is important for awareness, for how parents are talking to their children, and how victims are processing their trauma,” she says, “whether it be new or old. The brave women and men who have come forward this year have all moved the needle in terms of letting people know that this abuse of power shouldn’t be tolerated.”

Others featured among “The Silence Breakers” are actress Alyssa Milano, journalist Megyn Kelly and activist Tarana Burke, who started the now popular “#MeToo” hashtag 10 years ago.
