Kelly Clarkson loves Gwen Stefani.
The original American Idol winner tells E! News she and husband Brandon Blackstock once went on a double date with Gwen and boyfriend Blake Shelton at Gwen’s home, and Kelly had nothing but good things to say about both the No Doubt singer and her abode.
“You know, we’ve already [double dated] at her house, which is magnificent. And her family was there. It’s a real testament of how she’s such an awesome girl—it’s ‘cause of her family. Her family was super rad and down to earth. They’re really, really cool,” Kelly says, adding “her house is insane.
I walked in and I literally felt like the Pretty Woman scene when you don’t belong in the store. I was like, ‘I have a nice house,’ but [with] hers, I was like, ‘Damn!’”
Kelly and Blake are gearing up to work together on Season 14 on The Voice when Kelly makes her debut as a coach. Joining Blake and Kelly will be returnee Alicia Keys and veteran coach Adam Levine.
