Blake Shelton and Jennifer Hudson sit next to each other on The Voice, but fans never thought the unlikely pair would stand next to each other on stage.
Blake and J-Hud proved everyone wrong Tuesday night (Nov. 28) when they performed Blake’s hit single “I’ll Name the Dogs” together on the second week of The Voice’s live shows.
Jennifer provided backing vocals on the light-hearted love song’s chorus, while she and Blake traded friendly glances throughout the ditty.
Team Miley Cyrus also took the stage to give country music some love by performing Shania Twain’s “Man! I Feel Like a Woman.”
Unfortunately for Miley’s team, though, artist Janice Freeman was sent home at the end of the night.
The Voice live shows continue Monday and Tuesday night on NBC.
