Carrie Underwood Injured in Fall

Carrie Underwood is recovering after an accident Friday (Nov. 10) at her home.

According to a statement from her rep, the country superstar took a "hard fall" on steps outside her home in Nashville and suffered "multiple injuries."

"While there were no life-threatening injuries," the statement reads, "she was taken to the hospital to be treated. She sustained multiple injuries including a broken wrist and some cuts and abrasions from the fall. Her recovery will take some time and she appreciates all prayers and well wishes."

Carrie's husband, Mike Fisher, traveled overnight to be with the "Church Bells" singer, who hosted the CMA Awards for the tenth-consecutive time on Wednesday.

After the accident, she took to social media to thank fans for their support.

"Thanks so much for all the well wishes everybody...I'll be alright...might just take some time," she wrote today. "Glad I've got the best hubby in the world..."

Carrie will no longer be able to perform at the Country Rising benefit concert tonight in Nashville.
