Listen! Blake Shelton Releases 'I Lived It'

Blake Shelton is throwing it back to a simpler time.

The country superstar is releasing a new song each day this week leading up to the release of his new album Texoma Shore on Friday (Nov. 3).

The latest effort, “I Lived It,” is a reminder of older country images like grease in a Crisco can and tobacco juice on a bee sting.

“Oh, you think I’m talking crazy/In a different language/You might not understand,” Blake sings in the track’s chorus. “Oh, that’s alright/That’s just the kind of life that made me who I am/Just taking my mind on a visit/Back in time ‘cause I miss it/You wouldn’t know and love it/Like I love it/Unless you lived it/Man, I lived it.”

“I Lived It” follows previous offerings “At the House” and the album’s first single, “I’ll Name the Dogs.”
