Kenny Chesney’s love affair with Boston is like no other.
The country music superstar has been performing at the city’s Gillette Stadium since he began stadium tours in 2005, and in 2017, Kenny has officially sold one million tickets at the venue.
Kenny says the fans in Bean Town “have always rocked our world.”
“The energy and the passion? There’s nothing like it,” he adds. “We named No Shoes Nation at Gillette, made so many memories and even this year, on my year off, we couldn’t keep away. We played two nights at Gillette in August, just so we could feel that heat coming off the people of No Shoes Nation... But you never think about something like a million tickets.”
KC returns to Boston on his 2018 Trip Around the Sun Tour, which kicks off April 21 at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium. Kenny will bring along Dierks Bentley and Brothers Osborne for his 2018 tour stop at Gillette Stadium.
