Backstreet Boys are taking a cue from country.
The iconic boyband now has ties to country music thanks to their recent No. 1 collaboration on “God, Your Mama and Me” with Florida Georgia Line, and BSB isn’t finished with country music yet.
“We cut some Nashville songs recently, and just yesterday I was in the vocal booth,” the band’s Kevin Richardson tells Rolling Stone. “So we’re in the lab playing around, experimenting.”
The Backstreet Boys and FGL also took the stage for an unforgettable CMT Crossroads in 2017 and performed each other’s biggest hits. Most recently, BSB honored the country duo with a performance of “H.O.L.Y.” on the CMT Artists of the Year special.
The Backstreet Boys’ tenth studio album drops in the coming months. They celebrate their 25th anniversary as a band in 2018.
