Shania Twain Debuts Now at No. 1

It’s like she never left.

Shania Twain is back in action and back on top of the charts with her new album Now.

The country megastar debuted her first album in more than 15 years at the top of both the Country Albums and all-genre Billboard 200 chart.

With 137,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending October 5, Now earns the third-largest sales week for a country album in 2017 and becomes the first country set by a woman to lead the chart in more than three years.

“I am celebrating! I am so excited,” Shania says in a video reaction to the album’s No. 1 debut. “I have a No. 1 album and it’s all because of you guys... I’m just feeling really happy and very supported. Thank you guys! Thank you so much!”

Now is Shania’s second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, following her 2002 chart-topping album Up! 

She now turns her attention to her Shania Now Tour, which kicks off May 3, 2018, in Tacoma, Washington.
