Hunter Hayes’ new song will be loved.
The country star has officially dropped “You Should Be Loved,” the first track in what he calls a “new schedule” of releasing music.

The song features Atlanta-based pop trio the Shadowboxers, and Hunter reveals in a Facebook Live he was reluctant to ask to collaborate with him.
“When I want to collaborate with someone I’m kind of nervous to ask because I don’t want to hear no,” he explains.
“You Should Be Loved” follows the recent release of “Rescue” by the singer, who says he’s happy to finally be releasing new music.

“When we released ‘Rescue,’ I talked about how I want to put out more music more frequently... this has been in the works for so long it feels so good to finally get it out,” he says.
