According to the latest reports, 59 people were killed and 527 were injured when a gunman opened fire on the festival from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel and casino across the street.

“Senseless violence has claimed the souls of our fans and we have little in the way of answers,” the statement continues. “Our eternal gratitude goes out to the [Las Vegas police department], emergency services, security guards, and fans for their selfless acts of bravery while trying to help those in need.”

Route 91 now joins countless country stars in standing with Las Vegas, honoring the victims and letting love win.

“While we will try and move forward, we will never forget this day. We will not let hate win over love. We will not be defeated by senseless violence. We will persevere, and honor the souls that were lost. Because it matters,” the statement reads.

The website for Route 91, which launched in 2014,  has been completely erased and now features just an image of an orange ribbon.
