Dolly Parton Teams with Jennifer Aniston for New Movie

Dolly Parton is as busy as ever.

The country legend, who is gearing up to release her first children’s album, tells E! News she’s currently working with Jennifer Aniston on a new movie called Dumplin’.

Dolly won’t star in the movie, but it will feature both old and new songs from her musical repertoire.

“It was a best-selling book, and in the book, this girl that’s the character was a Dolly fan and loved my music,” Dolly describes of the new flick. “And so it inspired her in her life and so, of course, they’re using a lot of my music from the old days, but they asked me to write some new pieces and a theme song. So I’m working with Jennifer on that and a soundtrack album, and so I’m excited about that.”

Dolly has long blurred the lines between singer and actress starring in multiple variety shows and taking one of the lead roles in her first feature film, the now iconic 9 to 5 of 1980.

Dolly’s children’s album I Believe In You is set for release October 13. All proceeds from the album go to her Imagination Library.
