Dolly Reunites with 9 to 5 Co-Stars at Emmys

One reunion at the Emmys was enough to drive you crazy happy if you let it!

Dolly Parton took the stage with 9 to 5 co-stars Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda during the 69th annual event Sunday from Los Angeles, and some chemistry just never fizzles out.

“Hey, well, thank you. Oh that’s nice,” Dolly said as the audience gave them a standing ovation. “We appreciate that and personally I have been waiting for a 9 to 5 reunion ever since we did the first one.”

The trio took the stage together once again to present the “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series of TV Movie” trophy. But not without Dolly putting forth her best Dolly-ism first.

“If it hadn’t been for good support, Shock and Awe here,” she said referring to her famous cleavage, “would be more like Flopsy and Droopy.”

Jane and Lily, who now co-star together in Netflix’ Grace & Frankie, were both nominated for “Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series” for their work on the series, while Dolly was nominated as an executive producer for Dolly Parton's Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love.
