Blake Shelton has a doggone hit on his hands.
The country superstar is getting back to basics with his new single “I’ll Name the Dogs,” a ditty about settling down with that special someone.
“I’ll hang the pictures, you hang the stars/You pick the paint, I’ll pick a guitar/Sing you a song out there with the crickets and the frogs/You name the babies and I’ll name the dogs,” Blake sings in the song’s chorus.
The Voice coach has also dropped the official music video for “I’ll Name the Dogs,” and it features a surprise ending fans may not see coming.
The up-tempo track is the first taste of a new album from Blake, who also just last month released his Blake Shelton Live EP.
