Cole Swindell Superfan Makes America's Got Talent Semi-Finals

Cole Swindell first met Angelica Hale backstage at the 2016 Miss America competition.

Fast forward one year and the unknown little girl who performed a spontaneous “Middle of a Memory” for Cole at Miss America is a semi-finalist on America’s Got Talent.

The country star invited the 9-year-old now budding star on his bus after a recent tour stop, and he documented in all in the latest edition of his Swindell Vision web series.

“You have loads of talent. So here’s to you getting your own tour bus someday,” Cole told Angelica. “You’re a phenomenal singer, and a great person, and I wish you the best.”

Before she became a friend of Cole’s and took the spotlight on America’s Got Talent, Angelica entered into organ failure at age 4 after contracting a septic lung infection. She spent 80 days in the hospital in 2012, then in 2013, her mother donated a kidney to her daughter.

Watch the brave little girl’s next performance on the America’s Got Talent live shows airing September 12-13 on NBC.
