The country community is coming together to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey.
Blake Shelton, Reba, Justin Moore, RaeLynn, Brad Paisley and more sent well wishes to each of those affected by the storms, which caused the most damage in Port Aransas and Rockport on Friday (8/25) before hitting the Houston area with record rainfall numbers on Saturday and Sunday (8/26-8/27).
Additionally, Miranda’s MuttNation Foundation is on the ground in Houston to transport animals from the city’s municipal shelters to other areas to make room for pets displaced by the storm.
Chris Young pledged $100,000 to help with recovery efforts and began a GoFundMe page to encourage others to donate.
Meanwhile, Lady Antebellum, who was forced to cancel their Saturday concert in Houston, have promised to donate merchandise sales from their Friday concert in Dallas to aid victims of the storms.
The Chicago Tribune reports at least five people have died as of Sunday as a result of Harvey, while officials expect the number of fatalities to rise.
