Country music is making a big splash this season on The Voice.
Not only is CMT’s own Billy Ray Cyrus set to mentor daughter Miley Cyrus’ team on Season 13 of the hit NBC show, but also Rascal Flatts have been announced as mentors for Blake Shelton’s team.
Gary, Jay and Joe Don reveal in an interview with Extra! they are excited for the talent this season on Team Blake.
“Blake’s got such a great ear turning his chair around and finding great people, so it’s been awesome meeting them and giving them some tips,” Gary says. “It’s been a lot of fun working with him. A lot of talent, a lot of talent on team Blake.”
Joe Don adds the team is “really impressive” and “really inspiring.”
In addition to Billy Ray and Rascal Flatts, Joe Jonas will assist Adam Levine’s talent pool and Kelly Rowland will mentor new coach Jennifer Hudson’s team.
The new advisors follow last season’s crop Luke Bryan, Céline Dion, DJ Khaled, John Legend and Shania Twain.
The Voice premieres on September 25 at 8 P.M. on NBC.
