Talk country to me!
Jason Derulo is teasing an upcoming country project on which he’s revealed he’s collaborating with a mysterious country artist.
"I’m doing a country project,” he tells TMZ. “I can’t announce what it is exactly yet. It’s big time. It’s a project with me and another country act...it’s not just me.”
The pop/R&B superstar has previously dabbled in country. Not only did he perform with Luke Bryan at the recent CMT Music Awards, but he and Luke also took home the trophy for CMT Performance of the Year for their “Want to Want Me” duet from CMT Crossroads.
He previously collaborated with Florida Georgia Line on a “This Is How We Roll” remix, and he’ll soon join Luke, FGL and the legendary Hank Williams Jr. for a new version of the Monday Night Football theme song.
