Dan + Shay are adding a new addition.
The duo’s Dan Smyers tells Cody this weekend on CMT Hot 20 Countdown that he and new wife Abby have welcomed yet another fur baby to their family.
“I just adopted a third dog,” Dan says exclusively from Faster Horses Festival. “We had to buy a new house. We just bought a house two days ago to fit the third dog. We had to get a king bed. The two dogs sleeping in bed, there was no room, and then we got a third, it’s like, ‘OK. We need a new bed.’”
According to Abby’s personal Instagram, the new addition appears to be a white canine who they appropriately named “Ghost.”
Dan and Abby were already parents to two shelter dogs, whom they named “Chief” and “Joy,” before they gave the third pup a home.
