Dierks Bentley Gives an Update on His Nashville Bar

Whiskey Row’s progress is on a roll, but the new Lower Broadway bar owned by Dierks Bentley isn’t quite ready to open its door just yet.

The country star provided an update on the progress of his new establishment during a recent No. 1 party in Nashville, telling reporters he regretted Whiskey Row’s doors weren’t open in time for the recent NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs and CMA Music Festival.

“We’re really just trying to take our time to make sure we got it done right,” Dierks says, “and make it a place that’s not just selling beer and getting people in and out.”

Whiskey Row began as a chain in Arizona, and its Nashville location marks the first outside of the Grand Canyon State.

“It’s where the Eric Church and Miranda Lambert fans go when those guys aren’t in town,” he said. “That’s where those younger fans go to hang out, because they like that younger sound of country.”

Dierks adds the restaurant-bar will fit in well with Lower Broadway but have a vibe all its own.

According to the website, Whiskey Row is set to open in September.
