If anyone knows the ropes of CMT On Tour, it’s Cole Swindell.
The 2016 headliner of CMT’s fall tour reveals he’s excited for rising star Jon Pardi to take the reins of this year’s trek.
“For Jon, I’m just so excited for him because I’ve been buddies with him... Finally everything’s exploding at the right time for him,” Cole recently revealed to press at CMA Music Festival. “He’s a great guy and I’m just happy for him. I wish you the best, and it’s gonna be a fun tour, I’ll go ahead and tell you. He’s a fun guy.”
Cole adds Jon has a bright future ahead of him.
“You look at the artists who have done that and they’ve all gone on and been successful. To have CMT behind them and supporting them, that’s a big deal,” the “Flatliner” singer says.
Jon joins Cole, Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert and Luke Bryan—just to name a few—who have each headlined the CMT On Tour.
Midland and Runaway June join Jon on the CMT On Tour Presents the Lucky Tonight Tour later this year. Look for exact tour dates to be announced soon.
