American Idol’s got its pop music lady, and now it needs its “Real Good Man.”
Katy Perry is so far the only confirmed judge for 2018’s Idol reboot, and in new interview with Extra!, she reveals her dream cast of fellow judges includes a country megastar.

“My dream people would be Rihanna and Tim McGraw,” the “Swish Swish” singer says, adding there are “a lot of people who would be perfect” for the job.
While neither Rihanna’s nor Tim’s names has been tossed out as of yet as a potential addition the new American Idol judging panel, former judge Keith Urban tells Cody he would “possibly” consider a return to the historic singing competition.
“There’s a lot of moving parts in everybody’s camps. We’ll see what happens,” the four-season judge says exclusively.

Meanwhile, Katy adds she’s signed on for the new Idol revival because “it’s time now to really make people’s dreams come true.”
