Jana Kramer recently said goodbye to her pup of 8 years, Sophie, after the pooch’s long battle with cancer.

“Goodbye my Sophie dog. You were my best friend. You never left my side and I will forever cherish the 8 years we had together,” she captioned a photo of herself and Sophie. “I’ll see you at rainbow bridge one day but in the meantime run like crazy and eat as much food as you want there. You are cancer free now baby girl. I love you.”
Also among country stars who have bid their furry family members farewell is Dierks Bentley, who lost his dog Jake after 15 years together. He’s since included a song on his latest album called “Can’t Be Replaced” in honor of Jake.
