The CMT Music Awards aren’t called the loudest night in country music for nothing.

The 2017 event made big noise Wednesday night (6/7) live from Nashville’s Music City Center with unforgettable performances and winning moments from Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood and Lauren Alaina--just to name a few.

Keith nabbed the most wins of the night with 4 total, including the night’s most coveted Video of the Year trophy for “Blue Ain’t Your Color.” Keith also won Social Superstar of the Year, Male Video of the Year for “Blue Ain’t Your Color” and Collaborative Video of the Year for “The Fighter” with Carrie.

The “Dirty Laundry” singer and current record holder for most CMT Music Awards wins ever also took the Female Video of the Year trophy for “Church Bells.”

Lauren took the Breakthrough Video of the Year win for “Road Less Traveled” and gave an emotional acceptance speech, thanking God and her fellow artists who she says inspire her.

Other big wins went to Luke Bryan and Jason Derulo for CMT Performance of the Year for their rendition of "Want to Want Me" from CMT Crossroads. The pair also reunited on the stage to perform the song, this time mashed up of Luke's "Strip It Down."

Jason Aldean, Darius Rucker and Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley opened the show with a moving tribute performance to the late Gregg Allman, while Keith and Carrie delivered a stripped-down version of their hit single “The Fighter."

Duo Video of the Year winners Florida Georgia Line and The Chainsmokers performed “Last Day Alive” from the top of the country band’s newly opened FGL House restaurant and bar in downtown Nashville. Fellow duo Brothers Osborne collaborated with Peter Frampton, while Lady Antebellum closed the show with a once-in-a-lifetime performance with the legendary Earth, Wind and Fire.

Thomas Rhett, Little Big Town, Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert and Brett Eldredge also delivered memorable performances at the annual event.

Charles Esten took the helm of the CMT Music Awards, delivering punch lines about the Nashville Predators hockey team, male rompers and his popular role on CMT’s Nashville.
