The world is coming together after tragedy struck Monday night (5/22) in Manchester, England.

According to CNN, an explosion outside of an Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena killed at least 22 people, including children and the attacker, and injured many more.

The Greater Manchester Police reports that the explosion came from a male suicide bomber. Blake Shelton, Maren Morris, Darius Rucker and others have taken to social media to share prayers and condolences to the victims and their families.

“Just hearing about the explosions at the Arianna concert.. Praying for everybody!! Sick,” Blake tweeted.

Maren added it’s “so unbelievably sad” when “people are trying to have fun & enjoy music and this goes down.”

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has issued a statement saying it is monitoring the situation and that there could be increased security in public places and music events in the United States.
