What Is Katy Perry Getting Paid to Judge 'American Idol'?

Katy Perry will get a pretty penny as American Idol’s head judge.

According to TMZ, the “Swish Swish” singer will receive a hefty $25 million to serve on the judging panel for ABC’s Idol revival.

Comparatively, that haul is $10 million more than the paycheck given to Jennifer Lopez, the highest paid judge when Fox cancelled the show in 2016.

Ryan Seacrest, who also took in a reported $15 million during Idol’s last season with Fox, is said to be “on the verge” on completing a deal to host the competition on ABC.

Katy previously turned down a $20 million deal to judge American Idol in 2012.

Look for the reboot to hit airwaves March 2018.
