A prayer has been answered for Brantley Gilbert.
The country superstar and wife Amber are expecting their first child, CMT has learned.
The baby bulletin comes after years of fertility struggles for the couple, who were told conceiving a baby on their own “would be close to a miracle.”

“I’m not an emotional guy, but this has got me crying like a baby,” Brantley tells People. “I’m pretty good around other folks now, but when I’m by myself, if I look at one of the pictures from the doctor’s office, I lose a few tears.”
News of his wife’s pregnancy also comes just in time for Brantley’s fifth anniversary of sobriety.
“This Dec. 18 will be five years without drinking for me,” he says. “I got a long way away from the things that I was raised to prioritize: being a husband and a good father. Coming back to that and this happening, especially unexpectedly ... My heart just feels full.”

Amber and Brantley will find out the gender of their little one at a gender reveal party in two weeks.
Amber is due to give birth November 17.The couple, who plans to raise their son or daughter in the small town of Jefferson, Georgia, was married in June of 2015.
