CMT Awards: Kelsea, Keith & Thomas Lead Nominations

And the nominees are...

Kelsea Ballerini, Keith Urban and Thomas Rhett came out on top Tuesday morning (5/9) when the nominations for the 2017 CMT Music Awards were announced.

The stars earned four nominations each in categories including “Video of the Year,” “Male Video of the Year,” “Female Video of the Year” and “Social Superstar of the Year.”

Carrie Underwood, who holds the title of most CMT Music Awards wins, nabs three nominations this year, as do Florida Georgia Line, Lauren Alaina and Luke Bryan.

Among 2017’s first-time nominees are Brett Young, Chris Young, Jon Pardi and Midland.

Fan voting begins today at CMT.com and continues until 12:01am ET on Monday, June 5th.

Nashville’s Charles Esten hosts the 2017 CMT Music Awards live from Nashville on Wednesday, June 7th at 8pm ET/PT.
