He’s best known for his songs “Your Body Is a Wonderland” and “Gravity,” and now John Mayer is planting his feet in country music.
The seven-time Grammy winner has released a new single called “In The Blood” to country radio.

The track, which is his newest release from his latest album, The Search for Everything, covers family bonds and the influence parents have on their children.
“In The Blood” isn’t the first time John has dipped his toes in country music waters. The singer first collaborated with Keith Urban for a CMT Crossroads in 2010 and then performed at Zac Brown Band’s Southern Ground Music Festival in Nashville a few years ago.

John also famously dated one-time country star Taylor Swift, and the two collaborated on “Half of My Heart” in 2010.
