Miranda Lambert doesn’t live her life in 140 characters.
The “Tin Man” singer, who drops in this week for a two-night event on CMT After MidNite, tells Cody she is careful what parts of her life she shares on social media.

“I don’t like it at all. Social media is really hard for me,” Miranda says exclusively. “I have to try really hard. Whoever’s around me ... I’m like ‘Read this. Is this OK?’ People hammer on you for spelling and grammar. Everybody reads in to everything so much. I just choose wisely what I share.”

Miranda usually opts to post photos of her dogs or music from her friends, but on the rare occasion she gets personal about her life or relationship with boyfriend Anderson East, the ACM Female Vocalist of the Year “leaves some mystery.”
“It feels like you’re putting your life out there.... It’s scary. People read in to everything....There’s something to having some mystery. I think that some people overshare and some people don’t share enough. There’s a line,” she says.
