Keith Urban is finding the right signal for new music.
The country megastar tells the Tennessean he’s back in music mode writing and recording his tenth studio album. But Keith reveals the process is “way premature” to know what direction the music will take.
“I feel like a satellite dish, I was telling a co-writer the other day,” “The Fighter” singer says. “My job is just to keep the dish clear of debris and keep being willing to turn it towards the incoming, because stuff is always coming in. It’s just my job to keep the dish nice and clear. Another way to say that is to suit up and show up every day and see what happens.”

But Keith hasn’t said RIP to Ripcord just yet.
In fact, the Aussie’s ninth album has just been certified platinum. Ripcord is one of only two country music albums released in 2016 to sell the equivalent of one million copies.
