Matthew McConaughey’s country cred continues to grow.
The Oscar-winning actor performed alongside big country names this weekend at a charity concert in Austin, including mega group Little Big Town.

McConaughey and LBT also joined the legendary Kris Kristofferson (who performed "Why Me Lord" with the band), Jack Ingram and a crop of Nashville songwriters at the fifth annual Mack, Jack & McConaughey benefit, which has raised more than $5 million for charities that empower children.
The unlikely on-stage collaboration between the Dallas Buyers Club leading man and the country band comes after McConaughey’s performance with Kenny Chesney at another benefit show in early April.

One day before that, the Texas native took in the opening night of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s Soul2Soul Tour in New Orleans.
McConaughey has also famously presented at both the CMA Awards and ACM Awards in year’s past and even once starred in a Trisha Yearwood music video.
