Cassidy Bentley is no longer just Dierks Bentley’s wife. She’s an athlete with a heart of gold!
The country star’s wife recently ran in the Boston Marathon to raise money for Nashville’s Safe Haven Family Shelter, a charity that aims to end family homelessness through education and advocacy.

And with the help of friends, family and celebrity donors like Nicole Kidman, Sheryl Crow and more, Cassidy’s run raised more than $23,000 for the cause.
Dierks had been supportive of his wife leading up to the event, posting on social media and even creating an Instagram account to chronicle her journey. And Cassidy couldn’t be more grateful for her famous hubby.
“I spent 30 minutes last night trying to write and rewrite a post thanking him for the tshirts, the encouragement...everything. It’s useless. I don’t have the words. I’ll never have them,” she wrote online before the run.
