The countdown to new music from Shania Twain begins from this moment on.
The country legend has been teasing her first new album since 2002’s Up! for months now, and she’s finally ready to talk what she’s been cooking up in the studio.

Shania has announced she is appearing on The Late Late Show with James Cordon on Tuesday (4/18) and “looking forward to talking new music.”
What little information fans do know about new Shania tunes to come is it won’t be as pop-influenced as her 90s hits.

“I told anyone getting involved musically to forget about my other records,” the “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” singer recently told Rolling Stone. “I wanted a more organic approach.”
No official word on a first single from the project. Word is, though, fans can expect an album in May.
