The secret of life is a good cup of coffee, but the secret of a happy marriage is “there is no secret.”
Faith Hill, who sings about “The Secret of Life” in her 1998 hit, is opening up in 2017 about the secret of her successful marriage.
And her answer is similar to the message she sung about almost two decades ago.

Look, there is no secret. Either you like one another or you don’t. You want to stay married or you don’t. You work at it, or you don’t. Simple as that. It is not always easy, and there are moments that are rocky,” Faith tells Fox.
Mrs. Tim McGraw adds, “I would rather live a life in rocky road ice cream than vanilla any day of the week. Honestly, vanilla gets boring after a couple of days.”
In a recent interview with Cody, Faith expands on their thoughts on what’s behind a happy marriage.

“It’s the little things that really make the difference,” she says exclusively. “It’s giving one another the time to have a conversation, having breakfast together... It’s nice to just have coffee together and just talk without being interrupted... or ‘Mom, can you brush my hair?’”
