Brett Eldredge Plays Surprise Concert Before Chicago Cubs' Home Opener

Brett Eldredge is good at being a Chicago Cubs super fan.

The “Somethin’ I’m Good At” singer performed a surprise set Monday (4/10) just outside of Wrigley Field before the reigning World Series champions took the field for their first home game of the new season.

“Before I leave here and start partying with all of y’all, I have to say, we are the World Champions,” Brett told the crowd who packed the Old Crow Smokehouse in Chicago’s Wrigleyville neighborhood. “They can never take that away from us. We’ll always have that.”

Brett opened with the show with “Lose My Mind” and appropriately closed with Steve Goodman’s “Go Cubs Go.”
