With buzz of an American Idol reboot circulating everywhere, the country star and former judge on the show tells Fox he’s be “curious” if the show was born again.

“I love doing it [Idol]. I miss the camaraderie of working with Harry, Jen and Ryan — was really fun, like family. So, if that were to happen in some form, I’d be curious. But right now, it’s full-on busy,” “The Fighter” singer says.
Networks are said to be in a bidding war to bring back America’s original singing competition. An initial Variety report, though, indicated executives for Idol are in talks with NBC to revive Idol.
The show, which produced big names Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler, Scotty McCreery and more, ran for 15 seasons on Fox before it was canceled in 2015.
