That’s the philosophy Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are adopting as they enter the studio to record their first—and potentially only—joint album.

“This might be the only one we do, and we want it to be something we were proud of in every single way,” Tim reveals in an interview with The Times-Picayune newspaper in New Orleans.
The “Speak To A Girl” singers found the time to record their new project now that two of their three daughters are in college.

“We decided we were going to start looking for songs to see what we could find, and we started finding some great songs and got really excited about it,” Tim says. “For us, we never wanted to take the songs for granted or just do a duet project to do a duet project.”
Tim and Faith kick off their Soul II Soul World Tour tonight (4/7) in NOLA. No official word on a release date for the legendary country couple’s duet album.
