Carrie Underwood’s spiritual clock is ticking.
The country megastar opened up with Entertainment Tonight about the possibility of expanding her family, explaining she’s looking above for the answers.
“We’re on God’s good timing or whatever you might call it,” Carrie says. “I’m just trying to figure out where life’s going to take me next.”

“The Fighter” singer adds 2-year-old son Isaiah isn’t quite ready to be a big brother just yet.
“As a matter of fact,” Carrie says, “if a dog climbs up on my lap, I feel like he gets a little jealous of the dog!” For now, the mama of one is in “the beginning stages” of readying her sixth studio album and getting ideas from friends and family.

“I think the people in my life are what really inspires me,” she says. “You know, family, friends, people that I get to meet and I get to hear their stories... It’s just always cool to be able to incorporate incredible stories about people that you know or people that you meet into your music.”
